Translate eduTrac SIS

Are you new to the eduTrac SIS online user's manual? If so, click here for a starting point. If you are looking for technical documentation, then check out the Wiki.

Introduction

The project needs volunteers who are willing to take the time and effort to translate eduTrac SIS into their language or some other language in which they are fluent. It was suggested in the past to use Poedit for translation, but that has been replaced with the eduTrac SIS Online Translator.

Online Translator

With the eduTrac SIS Online Translator, it makes it much easier to translate eduTrac SIS into another language or locale. Also, is makes it much easier for collaboration as well since many users can be working on the same locale.

If you are interested in helping with the translations, the first step is to log into your account. If you don’t have an account, you can create one, and it is free.

Once you are logged in, head on over to translate.edutracsis.com and use the following steps:

  • Choose the locale you would like to work on.
  • Once you’ve chosen the locale, click on any row and it will expand showing you a textarea where you can enter a translation.
  • Once you enter the translation, click the button “Add translation.”

Repeat the aforementioned steps above in order to translate as many strings as you can. Once you’ve added your translated strings, sometime after, they will be approved for inclusion.

If you are interested in translating eduTrac SIS, but the locale you wish to use is not available, please use the comment form below to ask for it to be added.
