Assigning User Roles

After creating a new person record, you will need to assign a role to the person, otherwise, he/she will only have access to the dashboard when logged in. In order to assign a role to a person, navigate to the NAE screen and search for the person. When the person appears in your search results, click the Edit User Role button (see screenshot).


On the manage role form (see screenshot) for the particular person, you will need to assign a user role(s). Click Save after you are done. Now the user will be granted permissions assigned to the user role(s) assigned to him/her.
